Trooper - Brave DSH Silver Tabby Male Kitten for Adoption in Townsend, Tennessee For Sale

Trooper is a handsome and brave little DSH silver tabby male kitten who was rescued when one of our volunteers was trapping. He had a paw that he was favoring, and when they looked at him they discovered a wound that the vet determined was from a gunshot. The leg did not need to come off (thank goodness!!!), but that it would always be gimpy, and might eventually lock up and be stiff, but he has been a little trooper about everything, hence his name. This little guy is about 6-7 months old. He's not feral in any way...he lets the vet techs carry him around like a baby while they rub his belly and he purrs. The vet doesn't want him returned to his colony as she is afraid he would be a sitting duck if he can't run or climb, so Trooper needs to find an inside only home with someone who will appreciate that he is a survivor, and a gorgeous one at that! Look at those eyes! He has been neutered and vaccinated and is litter box trained. He could go to a new home with someone immediately provided that they will medicate him until he heals.
