Gimpy - Brave DSH Silver Tabby Male Kitten for Adoption in Townsend, Tennessee For Sale

Gimpy is a handsome and brave little DSH silver tabby male kitten who was rescued when one of our volunteers was trapping. He had a paw that he was favoring, and when they looked at him they discovered a wound that the vet determined was from a gunshot. The leg did not need to come off (thank goodness!!!), but that it would always be gimpy, and might eventually lock up and be stiff, hence Gimpy's name. This little guy is about 5-6 months old. He's not feral in any way...he lets the vet techs carry him around like a baby while they rub his belly and he purrs. The vet doesn't want him returned to his colony as she is afraid he would be a sitting duck if he can't run or climb, so Gimpy needs to find an inside only home with someone who will appreciate that he is a survivor, and a gorgeous one at that! Look at those eyes! He has been neutered and vaccinated and is litter box trained. He could go to a new home with someone immediately provided that they will medicate him until he heals.
